Administrative Assistant
HRBR is currently seeking an administrative assistant to work with, and complement, the existing administration team.
Reporting to the Business Administration Manager, duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. The successful candidate will project an exemplary company image through in-person and phone interaction with patients, staff and others in a professional, courteous and helpful manner.
Duties:
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors.
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
- Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to: Dictaphone typing, photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
- Research, price and purchase office supplies.
- Support staff in assigned project based work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience:
- At least three years of administrative experience in a customer focused environment.
- Strong administrative and customer service skills (e.g. secretarial, telephone skills, experience dealing with clients/patients).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant attitude and customer care focus.
- Sensitivity in handling confidential materials.
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes.
- Efficient audio typing and high standard of literacy.
- Resourcefulness and initiative.
- Work collaboratively with a positive attitude.
- A caring friendly professional attitude at all times with good communications and interpersonal skills
