I did a huge amount of research, so eventually I came across the HRBR site. First of all what appealed to me was that it was in Ireland that was the first thing, so it was very local very near to where I lived and then I realised after doing more and more research that they were using a technology that was absolutely world class, it's a world class centre.

I’ve just been to the hair dresser, for my first appointment with my new hair! As you may or may not know, when you get the procedure it does leave a very slight scar at the back of your head. It’s important to explain this to the hair dresser so they don’t give you a blade 1 – it’s best to go with a blade 2 or 3. Just got back from my holiday, seeing good growth in my hair. The sunshine has done it a lot of good. I put on factor 50, but I did take the morning sunshine without any sun block. I went into Samson House today to get my stitches taken out. It took about 10 minutes, very quick and painless which was a relief. The new hair is settling in well. I got back to work today, two days after surgery. Just felt I needed to get back as soon as possible. I felt totally fine heading in, glad to be getting back to a routine.
